Update:

UhBoohBahBaby is temporarily closed to new custom orders until further notice.  I will be stocking some in-stock carriers in the near future, but I will not be taking any custom orders for a few weeks.  I hurt my back recently, and family obligations have come first the past two weeks.  It's a good time to revamp this website, update it with an easy to use cart, and come back full force. :)  If you already have talked to me about a custom order, I will fill those before I close temporarily.  I'm thinking that it will be about two weeks before I can get everything done.  Thank you all for your support, and I hope to be back with new fabrics updated and a better system.

MinkyPods are available but will only be sold as in stock items.  Feel free to suggest some color combos if you'd like to see one in stock in the future.

Prices:
Straight Strap BabyPods:
$57 (plus 8.75% tax for CA residents) + Flat Rate Envelope Priority Mail shipping

Angled Strap BabyPods:
$67 (plus 8.75% tax for CA residents) + Flat Rate Envelope Priority Mail shipping

I do not make any pods at this time until they are ordered so it will take up to two weeks to complete plus a few days for shipping depending on demand though I try to get them out as soon as possible.  I use USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelopes for BabyPods.  Due to the bigger size, TodPods will be regular Priority Mail rate.  Please email me at uhboohbahbaby@gmail.comfor any questions.

Welcome!  Thank you for checking out the UhBoohBahBaby website.  Please feel free to browse, and let me know if you have any questions.  You can either email me at uhboohbahbaby@gmail.com or chat by clicking on the link on the right side bar or contact me at TBW.  I will be sure to get back to you within 24 hours or earlier.  Here are different ways to order:

In Stock: I will try to stock some in stock BabyPods and TodPods in the next few days.  You can find them by clicking on the "In Stock Pods" link on the side menu.  They will have a price and "Add to Cart" button if it's available.  I'm working on getting an in stock store set up in the meantime.

Semi-custom BabyPod orders: Choose from the fabrics available by browsing the UhBoohBahBaby photo album on the bottom right section of the side bar.  Then email me:

1. BabyPod or TodPod
2. Base fabric and design fabric selection(s) - please make sure to indicate which fabric you want the label on if you want reversible
3. Angled or straight straps
4. Regular or XL straps
5. If you live in CA or city and country for international orders
6. Your Paypal address for an invoice to be sent to

• Add $10 extra for reversible pod orders

Custom BabyPod or TodPod Orders: Send in your own panel fabric, and match it up with an available strap fabric to create your perfect pod.  Please email me the same info needed as the semi-custom order so I can invoice you.  Please consider the following when selecting fabric:

• 100% cotton quilter's weight fabric or heavier (if heavier fabric is selected, a hidden fabric panel will be added instead of padding)
• Make sure the pattern on the fabric can be centered on the fabric
• The fabric color should match the strap fabrics that are available
• Add $5 extra for each custom panel fabric sent in, add $20 extra total possible for a reversible two custom fabric pod.
• Fabric needs to be washed and preshrunk, needs to be at least 22" wide by 30" tall for BabyPod, 22" wide by 1yrd tall for TodPod centered on the pattern you want.  Remember that the top 4" will be covered by the headrest.

Wash & Care Instructions

UhBoohBahBaby pods do not come with wash & care instructions, so I have included it here:

1. Wash in cold water by itself. Try to use a dye grabber and detergent that doesn't have enzymes nor optical brighteners.  If you add other carriers or items in with the wash, you may end up with marks on your twill straps as the straps may get wrapped up with other items and wear faster in different areas.
2. Wash in gentle cycle if you have a regular top-loader.
3. Hang to dry.  Since UBBB pods are made with 100% cotton that has been preshrunk, they shouldn't shrink too much more if any, but hanging to dry will prolong the life of the pod.  Machine dry on low is okay but I still recommend hanging to dry.
4. If you need to iron, use a lower setting for the body so that the batting in the inside will not stick to the cotton panel fabric.  Straps can be ironed on higher setting with steam.  General rule of thumb is that colors may not stay as vibrant with heat.
5. For pods with silk, wash in cold on delicate cycle.  Hang to dry as heat will break down the silk fibers.

Cashmere Indio Pod w/Natural BBD Straps

Prices:
All Wrap - $45 for straight strap pods and $50 for angled strap pods.  No extra charge for XL straps but you need to provide enough yardage.
Semi-Custom - Use a wrap scrap and pair it with an in-stock base fabric.  $67 for angled plus $5 custom fabric charge or $57 for straight straps plus $5 custom fabric charge.
*Taxes apply for CA residents.

Shipping: You need to pay for shipping the wrap to me (insure it if you don't trust the USPS!), and you'll need to pay for shipping the pod and scraps back to you.  I usually do FRE shipping for my pods but since you will most likely want to keep the wrap scraps, it'll be regular Priority Mail shipping costs (plus insurance if you want it).

What type of wrap can I use?  Please choose a wrap that's not stretchy (like a Moby), not a thin weave like a Vatanai stripe, prewashed, and long enough for a pod.

Length of wrap needed for podification (please measure without stretching fabric):
- Body: needs to be 28"long x 21"wide times two (for front and back)
- Straps: 9" wide x 5yrds for SS (add 2 feet for XL) and 9" wide x 2yrds times two for AS (add 1 foot each for XL)
- Headrest (for AS only): 9"x18"

* How does this translate into wrap sizes?  For a regular AS BabyPod, you're safe to go with a 4yrd x  30" (4.0m) wrap (Didymos 5).  For an XL AS BabyPod, send in a 4.2m wrap (Didymos 6).  For a SS BabyPod, you need a 5yrd x 30" (5.0m) wrap (Didymos 6) and an XL SS BabyPod needs to be 5.5m or longer (Didymos 7).
