UhBoohBahBaby pods do not come with wash & care instructions, so I have included it here:
- Wash in cold water by itself. Try to use a dye grabber and detergent that doesn't have enzymes nor optical brighteners. If you add other carriers or items in with the wash, you may end up with marks on your twill straps as the straps may get wrapped up with other items and wear faster in different areas.
- Wash in gentle cycle if you have a regular top-loader.
- Hang to dry. Since UBBB pods are made with 100% cotton that has been preshrunk, they shouldn't shrink too much more if any, but hanging to dry will prolong the life of the pod. Machine dry on low is okay but I still recommend hanging to dry.
- If you need to iron, use a lower setting for the body so that the batting in the inside will not stick to the cotton panel fabric. Straps can be ironed on higher setting with steam. General rule of thumb is that colors may not stay as vibrant with heat.
- For pods with silk, wash in cold on delicate cycle. Hang to dry as heat will break down the silk fibers.
